The Problem with Product Photos
Store owners often take photos with their iPhones (which are 12-48 Megapixels) and upload them directly to Shopify. A grid of 10 products can easily weigh 40MB. That is unacceptable for mobile shoppers.
The Workflow for 1,000+ Products
Instead of manually resizing images in Photoshop:
- Export your product image directory.
- Drop it into ImageTight's Bulk Folder processor.
- Set a max-width of 1000px and choose WebP output.
